Kevin Berounsky
Bio
Kevin, much like Wayne Orr, began working in the family business when he was just a young man. At the age of 13, he worked diligently as a shop helper and gradually moved upwards through the ranks. Next, he became a delivery driver, then a warehouse worker, and then was promoted to Human Resource Director. After spending some time working in human resources, he moved onto Safety Director, then Purchasing Director, then Operations Manager, and finally, Vice President/Owner.
After studying Marketing and Business Administration, Kevin graduated from Clemson University in 1994. Then, Kevin began working for Douglas Orr Plumbing, Inc. full-time, shortly following graduation. He took a brief break from the company in 1996, when he moved to Atlanta and worked for Ferguson Enterprises for several years. Then, in 1999, Kevin moved back and decided to rejoin the family business.
Kevin became Vice President and part Owner of Douglas Orr Plumbing in 2004. His primary focus is on purchasing, managing the day-to-day operations, and working on business development for our company’s Service Department. Kevin says, “I have always been proud to be a part of this business. Doug did a great job of developing this company’s great reputation; it is exciting to carry on the tradition. It is always exciting to meet someone who knows about our company.”
