After a hard day’s work, you’ll probably go straight home, eat dinner with your family and finally rest in the comfort of your soft beds. At least that’s what we all want to picture and what we all wish for — to have a home where we can live happily with our loved ones through days of happiness and struggles. But then again, we can’t deny a heartbreaking reality. According to Robin Martin, the executive director of Hope South Florida and the Shepherd’s Way shelter, “The number of families facing homelessness is at epic proportions.” It is saddening indeed that the number of people and families going through financial ordeals increase over the years. What’s even more upsetting is the fact that their economic crises impact their lives so greatly that they end up living in the streets.
But thanks to HOPE South Florida, the affected families’ optimism is once again raised as well as their anticipation of better things to come. The non-profit organization was founded in 1995 when they started providing emergency shelter, housing assistance, and support services to thousands of homeless families and individuals in Broward County, FL. Today, they are partnering with the Christian community and other agencies to provide a safety net to people in order to regain their stability and never be homeless again.
And this July, we are going to be one of their partners. Join us. Help us. Let us be one with HOPE South Florida in uplifting the lives of these families in need.

The Stress Relievers is an informal group of family-owned companies that deliver services to property managers, building owners and board members in Miami Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach County.
